• The plugin seems to work well for what it’s supposed to do. I’m pleased, especially for a free plugin.

I had an issue that was seemingly tricky, and the author directed me to the support forum for premium subscribers. The tech handling my ticket was responsive, much more than one would expect for the lite version of the plugin.

The one thing that kept this review from being perfect is that I solved the problem myself. There’s a setting in the plugin called “Ajax variation threshold” that doesn’t have any real explanation of what it does. It ends up controlling exactly the thing with which I was struggling.

The tech who was initially handling my ticket seemed unaware of this setting, as it would have been the first thing to check given my issue description. The plugin author eventually chimed in with that as the answer (after I figured it out but before I marked my ticket as resolved).

Not a huge negative, as the level of support was already beyond many free plugins, but it’s not all gumdrops and rainbows. Besides, it looks sketchy when a plugin has all perfect reviews. Hopefully people will read this and realize that the minor drawbacks aren’t bad at all.

  • Hi @donaldjlove,

Thanks for your review and sorry for you inconvenience. I am one of the author of this plugin. I and my team are working to improve our support.

I personally was support, but hired a support engineer last 20th march. He is still learning things. I am really sorry for your inconvenience.

Could you confirm me where you reported your bug? Is it in ticket or chat? If it’s ticket what’s is your ticket ID or link?

    Thank You
