Good responsive theme … But why the annoying request to rate it?

A good responsive theme that’s easy to customise.

However, even if you’ve already rated it (I previously rated it 4/5) you get a hideous and persistent banner asking you to rate it! That’s something I’ve rarely seen with quality themes.

This is a meaningless annoyance and comes across as really tacky and desperate. I was happy to rate the theme highly but the developers are pushing me to the point where I am now seriously considering changing to a less hassling option, and there are hundreds of equivalent themes to choose from.
