Good setup for development site

  • I’m a bit in a tight spot and hopefully, somebody can help.

    I’ve been running dev and live installation on the same GC bucket.

    Now I’m changing themes and I have to regenerate image sizes.

    How can I do this without breaking the live installation? I have thought of creating a 2nd bucket for testing but how do I go then with the URL when uploading the dev install to live?

    Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.
