Good theme.

  • Thanks to SiteOrigin for creating and sharing this theme. Vantage is pretty good theme for a free stuff.

    The only thing is: It looks like we need to use a third-party plugin (Meta Slider – Premium) in order to achieve similar slider like in Vantage demo page. I just realized that the slider in the their demo page is built with layers of JPEG and PNG images only. I think it would be great if the author could add built-in custom slider, or at least they could clearly explain about this slider matter in the theme description.

    But overall, Vantage theme is good. Thumb up!

    Thanks for your support and feedback. Sorry it took so long to reply. Meta Slider Free unfortunately doesn’t offered a layered slider. Vantage offers a compromise, allowing you to add an image URL to the caption field to add a layered image. As you mentioned, this is the method we used in the demo. We cover this method here:

    You are quite right though, it would be great to have layering in the free version of whatever slider Vantage integrates with. In our newer Influence theme we integrated our own Slider widget which does offer layering: https://siteorigin.com/theme/influence/.
