• IP blocking and checking brute force attacks seems to work fine. However, 2FA is less than mediocre.

First of all, The WP All in one security has to be disabled for loginizer’s 2FA to work. In fact, otherwise the MY Security option doesn’t work at all and WordPress will report your site is broken !! That is lame because other plugins like WP 2FA work just fine with it.

Also, loginizer 2FA (paid service) does not let you use both the option (App or email) together and that is also very lame. I just purchased the other plugin and it works like a charm, lets me use App, Email as well as backup code.

It is technically doable, I wish loginizer will invest in cleaning up it’s code (not get broken by other well known plugins like WP All in one security) and have the option to let App as well as email based OTPs like most other 2FA plugins do. I wish I knew better, would not have spent on loginizer 2FA. I really liked loginizer but I guess I will have to use it just for IP blocking and brute force attacks and rely on someone else for effective 2FA.
