Goodbye JetPack, after 15 years…

  • A perfect example of how to ruin a plugin with a single wrong move. Stats was the only reason I’ve used the plugin for more than 15 years. I understand your desire to make money, but it is unacceptable that you’re treating small personal blogs, or non-profits like large commercial sites.

    Sorry to say that after 15 years, but it’s time to say goodbye.

    We’re very sorry to see you go, though we appreciate you took the time to share your honest feedback (even if it means getting a negative review).

    Free stats plans are for truly personal sites only; asking commercial sites to pay is the only way we can keep this feature available to people who run hobby blogs and similar.

    If there is no any other free Jetpack feature that you would enjoy, it makes sense that you deactivate Jetpack. I also wonder whether you have try disputing the stats status before, to see if there’s room for you to retain a complete or partial access to the Stats that are now behind a paywall.
