Goodbye, Statcounter!

I had been using Statcounter (a paid service) for many years. I tried various different WordPress plugins to replace it, but nothing worked that well or reported consistent traffic numbers.

Finally, I saw a recommendation for new Koko Analytics in the Kinsta newsletter. This WP plugin is free, super-easy to set up, and works perfectly out of the box. It tracks the same data that Statcounter reports, with virtually identical results.

Thanks! You just made my website faster to load and less expensive to operate. Plus (finally!) no more data going to a third party – which likely also helps my site’s SEO and traffic.
