• I’m wondering if anyone has a solution to this one:

I have a multiple author blog which is supported by Google Adsense. The Adsense is to be split by the authors in accordance with the articles they write. In other words is there a way to attribute the Google Adsense to the author’s article, i.e. “Bob the Blogger”‘s articles show trackable Google Adsense ads in the sidebar, attributable to “Bob”.

Is this the best way to go, set up a Google Adsense ID for each blogger then do an(if/else conditions in combo with get_author_name()) without violating Google’s TOS?

Or is there a way to do this with channels. The blog owner splits the revenue with the “bloggers” (his writers).

Any help would most certainly be appreciated.

    Chris

PS This doesn’t have to be a plugin solution, I can hard code it all.

  • I think you will have better luck if you get in tuch with google and see what they have to say about this. At first blush it seems like the mulitple accounts and an if/then type setup might be best, but google will be able to help you out i am sure.
