    This might not be relative to the plugin but appreciate if you reply. After syncing my products with Google Merchant seeing Missing 1 setup step error in Google merchant which is Google Ads so my question is do I have to link my Google Merchant to a Google Ads to be able to see my products on Google result.

    I don’t want to run any marketing/ads campaign and just need that my products appear on Google search, a follow up question is is there any way to check the result of appearing my products on Google search when there are many similar products to mine?

    Hello @smithjhsn,

    Yes, if you want your products to appear in the google search/shopping you will need to set up a shopping campaign. Shopping is a paid service from Google.

    If you want your products to appear in the organic results it is a completely different approach and you do not need the Merchant center but do some search engine optimization and have a long breath.

    Correct me if I’m wrong, the only use of this plugin is when link Google Merchant with Google ads meaning there’s no unpaid option(without linking to Google Ads) on Google Merchant to take advantage of this plugin?

    Yes, you are correct.
    as of 2013 Google shopping is no longer a Free service.
    Nevertheless, it is a very cost-effective way of marketing.

    It is not the cost that counts but the return is important.
