    Hello,
I asked the question in another post, but it was already marked as “resolved”, so here again ??

Is it right, that the Google Ads (Adsense) are totally blocked, when a user didn’t checked the “Marketing”-cookies?

Thanks in advance for your help ??

    Hi @andreas-2013,

This is correct and is done by the Adsense / DoubleClick integration, under Integrations.

How would you like it to work? Maybe we can help. Let me know if you’re using Tag Manager or not, which makes a difference in configuring. And if you’re using a plugin for Adsense, let me know as well:-)

    regards Aert

    Hello Aert,
    thank you for your reply!
If I understood right, it means, that Adsense basically works without cookies?
In this case it would be nice, if Google Ads were always shown, independently from the choice of the user.
I don’t use Google Tag Manager or any Adsense-Plugins, I’ve put the Adsense-code manually into my pages ??

Hi @andreas-2013 No, unfortunately Adsense won’t work without marketing cookies.

With Advanced Ads it is possible to display non-personalized ads, which only use statistics cookies. Though we are not aware of any solution yet that allows to you display ads without the use of cookies.

Did you enable the Complianz Adsense integration already? It sounds like it should work with your configuration.

    Kind regards,
    Leon

    Hello Leon,
    thank you very much.
What are Advanced Ads? And where can I enable the Adsense integration in Complianz? Could you help me, please?

    Hi @andreas-2013,

Advanced Ads is a WordPress plugin, you can find them in the repository as well: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/advanced-ads/. You could explore if this plugin suits your needs.

You can find and enable the Adsense integration in one click, under Complianz -> Integrations -> Adsense/DoubleClick.

    Kind regards,
    Leon
