• I’ve been trying to get Google ads running to drive to this site: for the last two months and keep getting rejected for an error on Google stating:

    – Unable to crawl your landing page on Desktop devices
    – HTTP error 403

I’ve contacted Cloudflare and our entire site is crawlable. I’ve been on the phone with Google reps repeatedly and they confirm the same when they manually run checks on our site.

Our ad agency seems to think that our WordPress site isn’t accessible from every country which is causing our Google Ads to be disapproved.

Has anyone run into anything similar? Or have any solutions/ideas? I’ve been running ads for years and never run into an issue like this.

Is your ad agency able to tell you one such country which the site is not accessible from?

In any case, WordPress doesn’t have any geo-blocking feature of any sort built-in. So such a restriction can only be coming from a 3rd-party WordPress security plugin you may be running, your server/host, or your external CDN/WAF (Cloudflare).

Check your WordPress security plugin (if any) logs, server logs, and Cloudflare logs. Do you see these 403s in your logs at all?
