Google Ads Not Appearing in Posts

    I’m trying to introduce google adsense, using the Adsense-Deluxe plugin. The php code added to my sidebar works. But the ads don’t show within posts.

    The code appears in the page source, but not on the compiled page. I’ve got a messy navbar at the top of the page, hacked in using dreamweaver. Ugly, but the best I could do with limited knowledge. It uses java. I’m also running the livecalendar java plugin, but I’ve tried disabling it to no avail.

    I’ve also tried to create a dummy page outside the blog and have ads delivered to that. It worked.

    Please help! I’ve run out of ideas.

    Yes.

    i’ve installed adsense deluxe and tested it on a post that i use a more tag. the ad showed up fine. did you copy the adsense code into adsense deluxe directly from google adsense or from some other source?

    Got it! Thinking about the characters being changed into ASCII numbers I thought about my plugins. I’m running text control by Jeff Minard. Disabled that and the ads within posts worked.

    So text control interferes with adsense. Ha! At last. Might have been obvious to some but took me ages to twig. Thanks to everybody for helping. Kept me encouraged even if you didn’t directly resolve the problem.

    I’m new with WordPress. Love their general user friendly format. Lots of user support. One problem, I just pasted in a Google AdSense code two days ago and it still doesn’t show up on my blog. What to do?
