Google Ads Not Showing Up

Hello, I am running the BlackMag WordPress Theme on my News Site and I’m using the default Text/HTML Code Widget that comes with wordpress to display Adsense on the side bars. But for some reason the ads don’t show the first time you load the page in chrome but they work perfectly find on Explorer and Firefox. I’m not against using a plugin to display the ads but I’d like to keep my site as light weight and simple as possible so if anyone has encountered this problem before or knows a fix let me know.
