• My google adsense ads will not focus in my body. The header & footer are fine.
I’m using the Google Adsense Plugin – I’ve tried to add custom CSS to those areas to try and centre the ads, but nothing is working. Can anyone help?

I’m using the Kindred Theme – just purchased last week. Everything is up and running, but the ads not being centred are a huge issue.

That doesn’t work. Plus, I’m using a Google Adsense Plugin that is placing my ads, so I need something for the body/CSS of my blog. I’m not super good with HTML.

    what adsense plugin exactly?
were did you download it from?

    the alignment could be caused by some formatting of your theme;

Here’s the adsense plugin I have – downloaded it right from WordPress

I’ve tried to get in contact with the developer the last few days and they aren’t responding

You will have to go to plugin editor and locate the div in your plugin files. and give <center> tag just before it.

Can anyone give me a custom code to centre my ads in the body of all my pages for my CSS Custom Form?

Hi, I am the creator of Smart AD Tags, you can center your ad at the bottom of your post manually, just take a look at the css file of this advertisement plugin and changed it’s values accordingly, should be no problem for you!

    Hi everyone…
Me again. This is what I’m trying to do: Centre my adsense ads in the body of my pages/posts. The headers and footers are centered.
Please do not email with the centre HTML Tags. This doesn’t work. Plus, I’m using a adsense plugin, so they put them on my website.
What I need is a CSS code that can correct this issue.

Anyone have any ideas? Here’s my website: https://www.theruggedrooster.com
I’m literally about to chuck my computer across the room. Spend 2 weeks trying to figure this out and I;m loosing a ton of income off adsense since half the ad is cut off so no one clicks on them.

    Thanks SO MUCH in advance.

    Michael,

The developer of my theme isn’t answering. I’ve messaged him on forums & personally, and through his website 13 days ago. I have the kindred theme.

one of the issue is that the supporting members of this forum do not have access to the codes of your theme.

the other issue is that your ad plugin does not wrap the ads into any useful html tags which might be used to focus CSS onto the ads.
(at least not as far I could see.)

please post also direct in your ad plugin’s forum at https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/google-publisher#postform – somebody there might reply.

Yeah. It’s true. I’ve tried other plugins that had the option to centre – align right etc.
It’s so frustrating. I wonder why the theme automatically pulls everything off the screen to the left?

Thank you for the link above!

have you tried to manage the ads via the plugin, i.e. remove the misaligned ad to see if google then tries to present another (better) position?

or have you tried to add some text below the HOME title to give the ads something to center on?

does the misaligned ad position show as centered when you manage theads via the plugin?

you can also try to add an ad position manually into your theme; possibly into the paragraph below the title ‘home’; see https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/6051417

this alledgedly creates a spot in your page to enable an ad, when managing the ads via the plugin.

the adsense site seems to have a little more info about the plugin than the WordPress plugin page; https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/3380626?hl=en&ref_topic=3380274

Alright, so I spent the night deleting the old plugin & adding a new one. I’ve got it now that all my ads are centred on a desktop.
But on a mobile device, the ads in the body are still veering off to the left. Again, huge issue as 43% of my traffic is on mobile.

I’m using the plugin: “Advanced Ads”
I’m getting better, but not super great with code and such – so i’m hoping there’s some sort of CSS code I can put in for the mobile issue.

I finally just bought a new theme as nothing ever worked to centre the ads in the body. Really sad – I guess the theme I was using wasn’t for people with ads on their sites.

Much happier with my new theme.
