• I just applied to upgrade my AdSense account for my new WordPress site. It’s been about 2 days and I haven’t heard anything. I used the plugin called Quick AdSense to put my ad codes in. I know that the ads won’t show up until the application is approved but it keeps saying this in my adsense account:

In order to complete your request to show ads on your own website, you need to implement the ad code on theteenageprepper.com. Your upgrade request can only be reviewed once your ad code has impressions on that domain. Learn more.

Is my application being reviewed or did I do something wrong. I read somewhere that WordPress isn’t supported by AdSense but I’ve seen other wordpress sites with it. Any help or clarification would be helpful.

    Thank you.

  • WordPress does not have any relationship to AdSense. You need to contact them.

But if you have questions about using the plugin, see:

By contact them do you mean contact Google AdSense?

Yes, that’s what I meant, but then I reread your post and it looks like you DO need to get the code on your site – have you done that? Did you read all the documentation about how to use that plugin? It doesn’t look like the developers answer the forum posts, so you may need to do some work on it yourself :).

Did you click on the “Learn More” in the message from AdSense?

I did put the code on the website, the ads aren’t supposed to show up until the account is approved. I just don’t know if they are being read by the bot that scans the website for the code. And I did go over the learn more section. By the way my ad is located in the sidebar.

I really don’t know how this all works, but I’ve heard it can just take a bit of time before they show up – so maybe wait a day or two and see if they show up.
