Google Adsense in Tracks theme / Tracks-child

    Hi,

    I’m using latest version of Tracks + Tracks-child.
    I’ve tried several Google Adsense WP plugins to add advertising to my post and pages without any luck. Are there any known issues adding Adsense to the Tracks theme and/or do you have any recommended Adsense plugin for use with Tracks?

    Hey Morten,

    I’m not aware of any conflicts with AdSense. Do you have an example of an ad that’s not working you can link me too?

    Hi Ben,

    I’ve now installed an Google Adsense plugin that’s very popular on WP.
    It’s called “AdSense Integration WP QUADS” I’ve configured Ads on the Google Adsense configuration page and then configured the plugin. When i use “view source” from Chrome I can see the Adsense code in the post but it’s not displaying.

    Thanks Morten!

    I see the ad code as well, so I am not sure why it is not displaying. Could you try temporarily switching themes to check if the ad then displays? If the issue is with Tracks, this will help verify that. Otherwise, I think the issue must lie in the configuration of the Adsense account.

    Hi Ben,

    I’ve sorted it out. It was my host file + some settings in Adsense.
    Thanks for you moral support and pointing me in the right direction.
