• My google adsense is saying “Earnings at risk – You need to fix some ads.txt file issues to avoid severe impact to your revenue.” And Google Adsense told me to download my ads.txt (which I did) and to Upload your ads.txt file to the root directory of your site. The root directory of a site is the directory or folder following the top level domain (example.com/ads.txt).

  • Hi,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Well, this is not something that is directly theme-related, but I can try to help up.

You need to access your Google Adsense account and generate the ads.txt file, then just download it onto your desktop and upload it inside the public_html folder of your hosting account.

You can upload the file using FTP or cPanel File Manager, just make sure that the file is located in the root folder, e.g. public_html or www.

Then just try accessing the file in your browser at https://cilantroparsley.com/ads.txt and if it displays the Error 404 page not found, just go to WP admin -> Setting -> Permalink and click Save changes to rebuild the permalinks and try again.

If the problem is still present right after, please get in touch with our support team here: https://www.lyrathemes.com/support/

    All the best. ??

I am having a problem I can’t solve and have gone through the Adsense tutorials. I have an ad at the bottom of my homepage I can’t seem to delete and remove. There is a title above the ad “Footer for Google Adsense.”

    Hi @todayshomekitchen,

Thanks for getting in touch- we really appreciate it.

Since this is a different type of issue, would you mind creating a new topic with a link to the page this is occurring on? We’d love to help if there’s anything we can do on our end. ??
