This plugin has been fantastic – thank you very much!

But now I’d like to set it up with google analytics and am having trouble. I’ve entered “s” as the search query (without quotes) – perhaps that’s wrong?

I’m really surprised searching “google analytics” on this support forum had no working results, unless something’s up on my end. If there’s a tutorial somewhere specific to aws, plugin, I’d really appreciate the link – thanks!

    Hello,

First of all thanks for your kind words.

Are you sure that you enable google analytics support from plugin settings page?

There is special option for this that called ‘Use Google Analytics’.

I think I wrote you too soon because I think it’s working now. I thought it would update immediately but I guess there’s some sort of delay before it displays (if that’s what was happening last night).

I only see my own searches though – so either no one else has searched or I’m still doing something wrong. I’ll ask some friends to do searches at their homes and see if they show up.

The plugin is exactly what I needed and we’re very happy with it – thanks.

Google analytics has some delay before action appear in dashboard.

So are you still see only your searches in GA or all seems to work fine now?

    Thanks.

YES! It is working! We’re so happy – thank you! We love how images of the dresses appear as the user types – fantastic!

The delay was the issue, after all.

New question: is there a max number of search results I can enter into the “Max number of results” field? Or perhaps a max that you recommend?

Will performance suffer, the higher I go? I have it at 999 now and that seems to be working, but I’d like it higher – you think that’s ok?

I was about to click “mark as resolved” but I’m not sure if it will close this thread so I’ll wait for your reply first.

Will mark this as resolved and start a new thread because my question is move involved now. Thank you for your help.
