Hello – 3 Google Analytics cookies were found in the scan performed – _gat, _ga and _gid but only 2 are listed in the generated Cookie Policy list of Placed Cookies – _ga and _gid.

Can you explain why _gat is not included?

    Hi @armstrj1,

If _gat is being used and does not show on the Cookie Policy, please attempt the following steps:

    – Visit the front-end of your website and make sure that you are not running any adblockers, cookie blockers, or have strict privacy settings in the browser.
    – Navigate to WP Admin > Complianz > Wizard > Cookie Scan and re-scan for Cookies.
    – Upon completion and detection of _gat, go to “Cookie descriptions”, click the “Sync” button and wait for it to complete. Complete the remaining steps in the Wizard and click Finish.

After doing this, _gat should appear on your Cookie Policy as shown in the attached screenshot below.

    Hi Jarno,

That is the procedure I have followed a few times now without success.

I have decided to add the _gat cookie manually as a workaround. Perhaps not an ideal solution but at least the cookie is now listed in the cookie policy.
