I think this type of data is bound to events, etc.

I suggest using a third party extension, supported by CAOS, like Monster Insights or Analytify.

Google Analytics is free and very good. I don’t want 3rd party extensions.

Earlier it worked ok and collected that data…

I didn’t mean you have to use a different service. CAOS is built for Google Analytics, Monster Insights (for example) is also built for Google Analytics, and CAOS offers a compatibility mode for that plugin.

Anyway, this used to work, and you were using CAOS then? If so, could it be something GDPR related?

It worked 2 months ago and i not changed any of GA and CAOS settings in that time.

But i know that CAOS had some updates. Maybe there is problem?

Yes, that could be. Could you use the contact form on my blog to send me an email, providing credentials to your WP administrator area?

That way I can check your settings and its output. To see what might’ve changed and causes issues in your setup.

    Hi @matrixpoland,

I’ve checked your settings and its output. The tracking code is placed in your site’s header and the analytics.js-file is downloaded properly. So everything should function as expected.

As for the extra data, such as gender and age; are you sure you weren’t receiving this data from Google Analytics Dashboard for WP (GADWP)? I noticed you have this installed, but disabled. If you enable this plugin, and active the compatibility mode in CAOS, you’ll have your data back.

    Also, I just found this:

“Neither analytics.js nor AMP tracking collects demographics and interests data.”

So, maybe something has changed recently on Google Analytics’ side?

As you see in same link:

    Standard reports

    Seven standard reports are available:

Demographics Overview: The distribution of Sessions (or other key metrics) on your property by age group and gender. Sessions is the default key metric. You can also use % New Sessions, Avg. Session Duration, Bounce Rate, or Pages per Session.
Age: Acquisition, Behavior, and Conversions metrics broken down by age group. When you drill into an age group, you see the breakdown by gender, then by interest. Ages below 18 are not included in the data.
Gender: Acquisition, Behavior, and Conversions metrics broken down by gender. When you drill into a gender, you see the breakdown by age group, then by interest.
Interests Overview: The distribution of Sessions (or other key metrics) on your property by the top-10 interests in Affinity Categories, In-Market Segments, and Other Categories.
Affinity Categories (reach): Acquisition, Behavior, and Conversions metrics broken down by Affinity Categories.
In-Market Segments: Acquisition, Behavior, and Conversions metrics broken down by In-Market Segments.
Other Categories: Acquisition, Behavior, and Conversions metrics broken down by Other Categories.

It collects that reports and collected 2-3 months ago in GA and now that data is empty
