Google analytics event tracking
-
Hi,
Popupally works good for me so far. I love the interface as well.
Question: I want to track the sign ups with google analytics.
I could add something like
onClick=“_gaq.push([‘_trackEvent’, ‘Join’, ‘Sign Up’, ‘homepage’]);”to the html part in the Popupally Style Settings, thus making it this:
<input onClick=”_gaq.push([‘_trackEvent’, ‘Join’, ‘Sign Up’, ‘homepage’]);” type=”submit” value=”Subscribe”/>
But I doubt if that works, because the actual button that people click says something else. I have customized it with Popupally and it says something else entirely.
How do I get into the actual code that is being used for the button on Popupally?
Thank you!
