Google Analytics for WordPress – Fatal Error

  • When activating the latest update of Google Analytics for WordPress, I am getting the following fatal error:

    Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in /home/iringhfl/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/admin/class-admin.php on line 342

    This appears to be happening with the latest version of both WP and Google Analytics for WordPress by Joast. Happening on a new WordPress install and on existing sites.
