• Discovered today that Google Analytics plug-in wasn’t working. Long story short, my current staff doesn’t have access to the former staff person access other the Google Analytics API, so when the plugin stopped working and we had to reauthorize the plugin, I had to create a new google analytics account/ID. Now, I’m having errors with the plugin. See below… and help ?? Thanks.

  • Hi,

The error is pretty self explanatory

User does not have sufficient permissions for this profile.

Please check if you are authorizing the plugin with the right Google account and that at least one Property is available on the respective account.

    – The Admin login for WordPress site is a non-Google account.
    – Google Analytics is set up with a Google account.
    – When authorizing the plugin, the Google account over the Google Analytics pages is being used.
    – There is a Property, this website, under this Google Account being used.
    – This authorization doesn’t work.

    – I’ve now created an Admin account to our WordPress site that is the Google Account’s email.
    – Using the Google Account Email that is now a Admin account on our website, I authorized the plugin.
    – Still, the authorization doesn’t work.

Would you provide some insight into this?

Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the plugin? This way all plugin’s settings will reset. I suspect it could be an error loop generated by the old property for which you don’t have access anymore.

    Alin,

I had the same Not Enough Permission issue.

It is fixed now after I reinstall the plugin.

    Thank you.
