After implementing the Complianz plugin, Google Analytics started reporting a much lower number than the actual one.

The statistical settings are configured as follows:

    • I have opted in to anonymize IP (checked all 3 checkboxes)
    • I selected the option ‘No’ for the question ‘Do you want to ask for consent for statistics?

On the cookie banner, in the preferences section, shows the Statistics button as disabled by default. Maybe this could be the cause of the difference.

Could please help me how to fix it?

    Hi @juyama,

Do you have the option “Do you target visitors from Germany, Austria, Belgium and/or Spain?” set to Yes, under Complianz -> Wizard -> General -> Visitors?

If so, that’s the most-likely reason for this behavior, as obtaining consent for Statistics is required in that case.

    Kind regards, Jarno

    Hello,

I have the same problem. I did what you wrote jarnovos and have the same configuration as juyama but still the traffic is lower in GA and when testing does not show users from regions where they are.

Is there any other solution to help me please?
