Google Analytics Not Working

  • I have a site (www spacecoastcancer com) that will not allow Google Analytics tracking to engage. It worked prior to this past month. The site is a bit of a mess. It was a custom theme by somebody else and I am afraid to update it for fear that it might break. They were individually adding the analytics code to each page which I don’t think would work. I installed Ultimate Google Analytics and made sure the UA code was correct. The site does not get recognized still. I have ran out of reasons of why Google would still have the message “tracking not installed.”

    I’m not sure how you are including the Google Analytics code, but I wonder… If you view source of your website can you see the Google Analytics code in there?

    If not then perhaps either you have some cache running on your site, maybe W3 Cache or similar. Or the method (plugin/theme) you are using does not work. You might want to check that its using the correct Google code and in the right place.
