Google Analytics on a Subsite?

  • I have a subsite with a URL that is /something yet I don’t see content view stats in my site’s Google Analytics for /something.

    Did I need to connect another code to this subsite to track? If so, is there any way to retroactively calculate these stats? I’m looking to create another subsite for a one page report later in the year and want to make sure I configure the GA correctly to measure stats.

  • Where did you put the tracking code? When you view the source code in the browser for that site, do you see the tracking code?

    The tracking code is on the main site site.org. I thought this would cover a URL that is site.org/subsite so I didn’t generate a specific tracking code for the subsite.

    But where did you put it? With a which plugin or in which theme file? And is the subsite using another theme?
