• Afternoon, I am new to the forum, however I have been using wordpress for 4+ years now.

    Im really stuck.

    Ive got a website – https://www.premierscaffold.co.uk

    Its got a site map set up, confiqued on google analytics however there is no crawl errors and no search enquires.

    Whats really strange is its not coming up on google AT ALL.

    Ive done Crawls + Fetches by google and they are complete but still there is nothing indexed.

    Im awaiting a google map code but the websites been live for over 2 months and I’ve been trying loads of different things.

    If anyone could give me some advice i would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks Charlie

  • Hi Charlie,

    The issue is that you are actually telling Google and other search engines not to index any of your pages.

    I see the following code on all your pages.

    <meta name=”robots” content=”none” />
    <meta name=”googlebot” content=”none” />

    “none” is basically the same as nofollow, noindex.

    You’ll probably need to update the header.php file in your theme. You can either delete those meta tags all together or replace “none” with “index, follow”
