Thanks for your reply.

I’ve followed all those instructions (except the part where it says you need to put the verification code back into Yoast because when I followed the instructions, Google told me my site was already verified and didn’t give me a code).

Everything is also connected per the video on this article: https://yoast.com/tracking-seo-google-analytics/, but I still have no data in my Google Analytics account.

I understand if this isn’t a Yoast problem and you can’t help me further, I was just hoping since I connected it all up using Yoast and it’s unlikely I’ll get any response from Google about the issue.

@buyfueldoctor Unfortunately as Google Analytics tracking is not a feature of the Yoast SEO plugin, this issue is outside the scope of support we can offer for the plugin.

In order to resolve your issues with Google Analytics we would recommend either contacting the providers for what is handling your Google Analytics code (such as a theme or plugin) or by contacting Google’s through it’s own support channels.

Thanks for getting back to me. As I said, I’ve just followed the instructions provided by Yoast and have no other plugins that deal with Google.

I’ll try contacting Google, but I think it will be faster just to delete my whole account and try again.

Yoast did previously develop a Google Analytics plugin, but the plugin was acquired by MonsterInsights back in 2016. You can read more information on this here: https://yoast.com/new-home-google-analytics-plugins/.
