google analytics showing high bounce rate

    Atfirst I had a Analtics plugin in my site – The GA account showed very low bounce rate ( 9% ) in my site – so i deleted the google analytics plugin -then sudenly bounce rate is 80% -100% ( somedays 20% some day 40% – it seems to be changing everyday – for most pages it is 100% – but that is not right – even on pages with good engagement
    what could be wrong – tag assistant is showing analytic code is in the site’
    can i delete the GA code and install it again – if yes how to go about it

    Have you tried to install the same plugin that seemed to work fine? From what you describe it seems that there is a settings mis-configuration. For GA settings you might need to refer to the Google help pages or forum. Or use the Google Tag Manager support pages to help with the correct configuration.
