Google Analytics stop to work after installing Complianz gdpr Plugin

    Hello,
    My site was using other cookie plugin and I had never had a problem with google analytics.. after installing your plugin and setting up, I don’t have anymore data from nobody.. to be sure that It wasn’t my site which was banned from google I installed and statistics traffic for visitors plugin and obviously, and the site was working fine.. people still were visiting my site.. but I guess that your plugin blocked in some way google analytics.. so.. there is no more data from it.. I would like to know if the only soution is to uninstall your plugin to make it work again !

    Hi @romonoutic,

    It really depends on your configuration of Google Analytics.

    If you’re in the EU, and don’t have Germany or Austria as a region you can configure Google Analytics to be prior to consent.

    In the wizard you will find the possibility to check three checkboxes under Cookies – Statistics, that will anonymize IP addresses, making this possible.

    If this is not the case, or you have visitors from Germany. You will need consent for Statistics and this will be configure automatically. This will mean your users need to consent first before getting tracked, this might cause the lack of data.
