    Hello Koen,

    can you help please? Authorisation succesful, but showed as stated below:

    Christel Maren (this is the account name)
    No businesses found. Did you log in to the correct Google account?

    Strandhaus Susi (this is the location name)
    Strandhaus Susi Steinmarner Trift 20 – 27476 Cuxhaven

    When I create a post and publish, this message appears:
    Failed to post to location Strandhaus Susi: Google API Error(s): Creating/Updating a local post is not authorized for this location.

    What is wrong? The account name is linked to the location name, I checked this in my GoogleBusiness placements.

    Hi Susanne,

    That error means you’re not allowed to use the Google Post API. As a result you can’t (yet) use the plugin to create posts. Is the location fully verified and public on Google My Business?

    It is fully verified and published. Does it maybe require a certain setting in the GMB Dashboard? I can’t find anything referring to a ?post function“…

    Does your Google My Business dashboard have the “Posts” section? Can you create posts from the GMB dashboard?

    Hi Susanne,

    Sorry for the late response. If your GMB Dashboard doesn’t have the Posts section then the plugin will not work either.

    I believe GMB listings in the Hotels category are not allowed to use the Posts feature.
