Google API key

  • Hello,
    I get the “for developmental purposes only” watermark over the map. Has anyone tried installing a Google API key and fixed this? Does the developer (who seems to have abandoned the plugin) also need to install a new API? If so, it wouldn’t work for me to install the API. Has anyone found a workaround?

  • It’s nothing to do with an API key (though you probably still need one). It’s to do with Google demanding an account backed by a credit card to continue using its mapping (even though in most cases no payment will be taken).

    I have now an API key that I have entered via Google API Key and they have my credit card, but it still didn’t work. So I am trying another map.
