Google Apps & Posting by E-Mail

I have my e-mail setup through Google Apps and WordPress self-hosted on my website. What are the exact settings/procedures that I can do in order to post blog entries by e-mail?

I have read there are complications with SSL, but people seem to be overcoming this. Please help!
