    Hi,

I have created the API with the correct settings on API restrictions. But it still does not work when I test credentials. The weird thing is, there is no response message, the page only tells me to “Use this HTTP Referrer if the API lets you restrict key usage from its Dashboard.”

    Please help. Thanks!

  • Hello,

Go to Google Cloud Platform => Translation API => Where you allow your domain please make sure you added the protocol as well.
    If: *domain.com
    Replace with
https://domain.com if you are using a www protocol add it as well.
    https://www.domain.com

Save the new changes => wait 5 minutes => Test the api one more time.
If you see an error. please make a screenshot and show it to me.

    Kind regards,

    No, it’s still not working.

To further investigate what the problem might be, please provide the following:

? A screenshot at the general settings from wordpress. (Can be found by going to: WordPress Dashboard -> Settings -> General. Here please cover the url of the website as it is.

? A screenshot at the Automatic Translation Tab (Can be found by going to: WordPress Dashboard -> Settings -> Translatepress -> Automatic Translation (I will need a screenshot with the whole page but please blur your API KEY

? Make a API test and send me the result.

? Another screenshot from the Google Cloud Platform showing what url you allowed.

    Cheers,

I know there’s nothing in it, but it is what it shows.

    Hello,

We deeply apologize for the delayed response.
There has been a great load on our support team in the past few days, but such a long reply time is very uncommon.

As this seems to need further investigation my suggestion would be to create a ticket at:
    https://translatepress.com/support/ask-a-presale-question/

P.S — Please mention this link so me or my colleagues will know what we already tried and didn’t work.

    Kind regards,
