Google bot spending a lot of time with jetpack/trying to access wp-login?

    I run a little job that trawls through my logs for various kinds of use, doorknob rattling, etc. I have been seeing log entries that look like Google’s crawler trying to work around Jetpack and wp-login. I just added wp-includes and wp-admin to robots.txt, maybe that will clear it up. Seems odd for a content harvester to be interested in admin pages, .js files, etc.

    Yes, these are hits coming in from Google. Because of that, we don’t really have any information about why they’re reaching out to those items other than to assume it’s just trying to catalogue site content as much as possible.
