• Hi – I am trying to display someone else’s public Google calendar on our website:
    https://beckmanwp.org/calendar/

On my WordPress Calendar page the calendar shows up just fine; but it’s not visible on any browser. On most browsers it’s just blank but I get this error message on IE:

“This content can’t be shown in a frame
There is supposed to be some content here, but the publisher doesn’t allow it to be displayed in a frame. This is to help protect the security of any information you might enter into this site.”

    Thanks,
    Chip

  • Hello,

When I’m trying to view the calendar directly I’m getting this Sorry, this calendar does not have public access enabled. If you are the calendar owner, you can make this calendar public on the calendar sharing settings page. are you sure it’s a public calendar or that you pasted the correct address ?

    Best regards,
    Konstantinos

Thanks – but how can you tell public access has not been enabled? The owner (our head coach) said he made it public and it does show up in the WordPress editor on the page I created for it.

    Hello,

You mean that you can view the calendar correctly when loged in through the Admin or the ’empty’ calendar in general? The empty calendar might be a fallback to just show an empty one either way that’s something I don’t know.

Either way there is a fallback link for non-javascript browsers that gets shown with an error, this code:

    <noscript><p></p>
Your browser does not appear to support JavaScript, but this page needs to use JavaScript to display correctly.
You can visit the HTML-only version of this page at:
    <a href="https://calendar.google.com/calendar/htmlembed?src=dujepatriotwp%40gmail.com&amp;ctz=America/Los_Angeles">https://calendar.google.com/calendar/htmlembed?src=dujepatriotwp%40gmail.com&amp;ctz=America/Los_Angeles</a></noscript>

If you check that LINK you’ll see what I’m talking about.

I can’t be sure if it’s either the calendars fault or a wrong address / plugin setting but your page can’t access that link.

Could you give us the calendars link that you originally have from your coach here as well to see if it works and do tests in general in case we can help?

    Best regards,
    Konstantinos
