    Hi there

I want to make an easy way for my client to add their upcoming music events to their website, and so the EA Event Calendar seems to be the best choice as I can integrate Google Calendar. I have set it up with a test account, added the API and the username, and it has synchronised however it does’t show the titles or descriptions of the events. Only the date and time is showing up. Not sure what I’m doing wrong, any ideas?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @tomwphoto ,

As you configured the calendar from the Google, Can you please confirm that the email you used, Is that a personal email(gmail) or Organization Email( GSuite )?

Currently data can’t be fetching if you’re using Organization Email, So please make sure that you’re using personal email(@gmail.com).

    Hope you understand.
    Thanks!

    Hi Abid

I have tried it with a new gmail account ([email protected]) and am having trouble getting it working. I added the account and API but it doesn’t show any results. Any idea?

    Hi there

I noticed this topic has been marked Resolved but actually it is not. I started a new gmail just for this Calendar, I then enabled the Google Calendar in the Google API and copied the API and gmail into the plugin but still it shows no results even though I made a few events. Any help with this is much appreciated.

    Hi @tomwphoto ,

Sorry for the late response as we are on a weekend here.
Can you please make sure that you’re selected Web browser(JavaScript), when you generate your API
Also make sure that, Your calendar and all events are set to public from your Google Calendar.
If that doesn’t help, You can create a new API and try once again.

    Hi Abid

Really sorry but I seem to be having a problem again. So the Google Calendar is definitely public and I copied the API key and it was working. However now for some reason it is only showing the first event and everything else is missing. I made sure all of the posts are public so no idea why they’re not showing. Any help is much appreciated.

    Hi @tomwphoto ,

    Sorry for the late response.
That’s really strange. Besides the public calendar, Make sure the all events are set to public aswell: https://d.pr/i/HNxNE1

Also, Sometimes it happens for the Database Cache. In that case you can use the Transient Cleaner plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/artiss-transient-cleaner/

After Install and activate the Transient Cleaner plugin, Go to: Tools > Transient Cleaner
And then check the “Remove all transients” and click Save Changes.

No worries, thanks for your help Abid. The Transient Cleaner plugin does seem to help fix it but I noticed a problem when doing repeat events. Every time I change an event to repeat it seems to mess things up and remove other items.

    Hi there,

    Hope you’re doing good.
I reproduced the repeater event in Google Calendar and it shows perfectly on the EA Event Calendar. Also I added an extra event which is also perfectly showing.
