    Hello,

When I started testing the Appointments plus Google Calendar Integration API feature, it was properly adding new appointments to my google calendar in the backend when a customer booked an appointment.

Now whats happening when i run it live is that everything works as expected except the calendar appointment doesn’t make it to my Google Calendar in the backend.

I’ve run the Google calendar API test routine in the settings and it DOES put a google appointment inot the calendar just fine. I’ve confirmed my other Google calendar API set up and can’t see anything wrong ?

Any ideas what may be happening in regards to the trigger not firing off the calendar appointment ? Does it have to do with the paid versus Completed status’s ? I currently have my clients require payment of deposit for their appointments. Also, emails are firing as they should as well so notifications do go out properly. Log file doesn’t show any auth issues either.

This did work in testing before making paypal “live” so im a little stumped as to why its not working now ?

Any ideas of where to check things or test them to ensure consistent functionality ?

    Thanks in advance

Correction: I’m using Appointments Lite ver 1.44

I’ve also now confirmed that there are 0 Google Calendar API errors on the Google Side. All requests for the day have been 100% successful with no errors. Test messages work but not appointments scheduled from the web side.

I would appreciate some type of response here…

Is anyone looking into this at all ?

Is this a known issue with this version of the appointments plugin ?

Will it be fixed in a short amount of time ?

    Thanks

    Attention: @wpmudev-support9
Are there any updates to this issue with the free version of Appointments ?

Do you have a workaround so that I can get my site up and running ?

this is now the limiting factor in me getting things up and running correctly.

Does the issue at hand have anything to do with this Google recent change ?

    https://developers.googleblog.com/2016/09/increased-account-security-via-oauth-2-0-token-revocation.html

Is the only thing I need to do, to recreate the OAuth service account again to get this to work ?

    Can you please confirm ?

Hello @kkarr2015, I trust you are doing well today!

My apologies for the delay here.

Does the issue at hand have anything to do with this Google recent change ?

Yes, because of these recent changes that the Google company made, the Appointments plugin is not syncing yet with the Google Calendar.

The update of the Appointment lite version that includes the fix for Google Calendar integration it’s on its way, although I can’t provide an ETA.

You can download the Appointments+ plugin, where this issue is already fixed for free directly to your site, once you sign up for 15 days trial membership with us here.

    I hope this will help!

    Kind regards,

    This is unacceptable..

This isn’t helpful to all the users who have already installed the Free version and are sitting here waiting for an update to fix a major aspect of the plugin.

Some people might have already built their websites and were using it and now are forced to wait because its not working or worse yet be railroaded into buying a costly overpriced subscription for one Plugin !

If this is the kind of support you provide to a free product I am very fearful of how you actually treat paying customers.

I think i’ll make the switch to AppointZillas Product instead. Although you need to pay its a one time free with support for a year.

Hello @kkarr2015, I hope all is well today!

Please accept mt sincere apologies, I understand your frustration.

To the members that using the lite plugin with this issue, for a workaround, we suggest installing the Appointment+ version, since they are free to use this plugin even after their subscription ends. And once this issue is fixed, they are welcome to switch to the Appointments lite back again.

Our developers are aware of this bug and the fix it’s on the road, but I’m afraid I can’t provide an ETA.

Again, please accept my apologies for the troubles this issue might have caused.

    Kind regards,
    Nastia
