    Hello,

    Great plugin! Thank you!

    I’ve searched your support pages and documentations, including your article titled EA EVENT CALENDAR on your website and can’t find the answer for my questions regarding the more detailed settings of the calendar element, especially settings of the Google Calendar.

    Under API Key and Calendar ID there are also Start and End Dates and Max Result.

    Is there a way of setting the time permanently/”forever”/time unlimited other than setting it for let’s say 100 years? Right now setting it for any period of time will render the calendar inactive after the assigned end date.

    What is the “Max Result” in calendar settings and what number should be assigned there for the calendar to work properly, without interruption or limit? What that feature “Max Result” do?

    The calendar in Month view when displaying some months shows an extra row of days for the following month (6th row). Is there a way to not show that extra row which does not belong to the current month in those months which only need 5 rows?

    Thank you in advance for your help.

    Kind regards

    jawill

    Hi @jawill,
    Greetings. Hope you are doing well. Thanks a lot for reaching out.

    Regarding your query about EA Event Calendar, we are really sorry but currently, the option to set up the timing permanently/forever/time unlimited for the EA Event Calendar is unavailable for now. As Google fully handle the calendar’s events we just fetch the data using the API with some parameters and set up the timing is also one of them. I will definitely discuss with our Dev Team about your suggestion and I believe they will find out an option to do this in the future. In the meantime, I would suggest you set up the timing from there according to your desired time for now.

    “Max Result” is the max amount of Events you want to show in your Calendar during your timing setup. For example – You select the Start date – 1st July 2023 and End date – 31st December 2023 and set up the Max Result – 15. So now if your calendar has 20 events, the EA Event Calendar for Google will show the first 15 Events from the set-up timing. So, I would like to suggest you set up the Max Results to the highest number to avoid any inconvenience to show all the events during the time frame.

    Also, about hiding the last row for the calendar you can do this by adding the below custom CSS. However, when you will hide this you will miss the last dates for some of the months. Please check this screencast for reference – https://d.pr/v/Zl8nsH
    Here is the CSS code –

    table.fc-scrollgrid-sync-table tbody tr:last-child{
    display: none;
    }

    You can simply add custom CSS by navigating to your WordPress?Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize.
    After you are on the Customizer page, search for the “Additional CSS” option. You can then go ahead and insert CSS Code. Please check this screencast to learn more – https://d.pr/v/QrrfTw

    Hope this will help you out. Please feel free to reach out if you have any queries or questions. I would be happy to help you.

    Thanks and Regards.
