I have uploaded 3 sitemaps from MPG to Google Search Console. Only one of them was successfully read and the other 2 say that Google Couldn’t Fetch. Do you know how to fix this so google can see the sitemap?

    Thank you!

  • Hi

I’ve checked in a validator? the sitemap’s URL that you send, and the sitemap’s syntax is correct.

Take a look at this article:?https://betterstudio.com/blog/search-console-fails-to-fetch-sitemap/
Sometimes ago, I met the same problem in our customer, and he sad, that a sitemap was correctly fetched after some time, like a few hours.
If it’s possible, try to split this one into a few smaller ones, for example, up to 20k URLs per file.

    Regards.

Thank you for the response and I will try making the sitemaps smaller and waiting to see if they get read.

I however ran into another problem on some of the pages I generated up on the tab heading it says %%titles%%%%page%%%%sep%% instead of the page title. I tried this on firefox and chrome and the tab showed the same thing.

For example on the tab here https://convertmeters.com/0.001-meters-to-inches/

and as you can see here it works fine on some pages https://convertmeters.com/1-meters-to-feet/

    Hi.
As I see, you’re using Yoast SEO, and probably, with custom title structure for the template page.
Try to leave this field empty (in your case in post id 109) https://joxi.ru/p27YnRginXYOXr and check is it help.
In one of future versions we’ll implement support of custom titles.
