    hi,

    I also tried your issue and works for me; btw, can you re-post this on a new thread instead? just to avoid confusion.

    thx

    Dear All,

    Apologies if this is not the usual way of doing things on these forums, but I’ve had similar problems with this plugin, plus some others, that aren’t resolved by deactivating and reactivating.

    I’ve detailed them on another post, plus how I’m currently running this plugin.

    Thanks.

    ultimately, I think I know why everyone is having this problem… it’s because you have a theme or plugin that’s getting thrown off by our javascript for potentially many reasons, and our plugin isn’t dealing very well with that fact…

    You can verify this by deactivating other plugins and/or reverting to the default wp theme temprorarily to test it.

    I’m going to try and correct that ASAP and release another update.

    I’ve just updated the dev version to correct this, and also the broken JS problem (well, at least it degrades and doesn’t go blank)

    3.1.0.1 – https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/login-with-ajax.zip

    I’ll be updating the plugin again shortly to a ‘stable’, but if you have time to test and confirm, that’d be appreciated!

    Hey there,

    Got the same problem on my 2 WordPress sites. Deactivation and activation dosen’t solve the problem.

    I use the latest Chrome browser and my location is germany and i use the default wordpress theme twente eleven..

    Got this error message.
    {“result”:true,”message”:”Login erfolgreich, umleiten…”,”action”:”login”}

    After your update it works fine without any problem! Thanks a lot!

    Chrome no longer does:
    {“result”:false,”error”:”Please supply your username and password.”,”action”:”login”}
    but it now just sits there spinning the animation and does nothing. Comes up with no dialog box/error.

    This is when you just click login and put no input. Same in Chrome and Firefox.

    Using 3.1.0.1

    I don’t think 3.1.1 will help, so I’d need to see the login form on your site to comment further

    I was able to fix this by updating the login-with-ajax.js into my theme folder with widget.css.

    Is there a way where you can make this not required to add this along with widget.css?

    The new css doesn’t work without having that .js file in the folder with it.

    not sure exactly what you mean, but it shouldn’t be required for you to move both the js and css files over. if the js is not in your theme folder, our default one should be used.

    i suggest creating a new thread about it, given the original issue is resolved.
