I received the following email from Google.

We have detected a publicly accessible Google API key associated with the following Google Cloud Platform project:

Project trekkingtheplanetcom (id: trekkingtheplane-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) with API key Axxxxxxx–Yxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

The key was found at the following URL: https://www.trekkingtheplanet.com/our-adventures/ttpeur/following-a-river-to-its-austrian-alps-source-lechweg

We believe that you or your organization may have inadvertently published the affected API key in public sources or on public websites (for example, credentials mistakenly uploaded to a service such as GitHub.)

    ***end

We checked both here and on your website and we didn’t see this issue reported.

What can we do to eliminate this threat to our Google Cloud account?

    Thanks!

    Hello, @dvansoye

To display maps, you must specify the API Key.

Further, through the Google Maps API, your map is generated without our participation. That is, the method directly works with Google. Your API key could have been published to you and written on sites like Github. Generate a new key and specify it in the plugin settings.

    Best regards,

    Ole and Supsystic Team!
