    I’ll add have a bunch of other sites on same server, no issue with yoast pulling sitemaps to google webmaster tools.

    Hi Ravetildon i’m having a similar problem:
    Sitemap can be read, but has errors
    Your Sitemap does not contain any URLs. Please validate and resubmit your Sitemap.

    But does not true, all of this happened after last WordPress Update.

    Hi,

    Since yesterday my sitemap page https://mysite.com/sitemap_index.xml is showing a 404 error and Google Console says there is a General HTTP error 404.

    I updated WP yesterday, I am not sure if it has anything to do with that. Everything was okay on May 17th, the first error appeared on May 19.

    Any ideas on what to do, I have already gone through deactivating plugins etc.

    Thanks

    @sleepy007 and @z72diego We ask that you please make a new post regarding your specific issue. That way we can focus on the issue you are exactly having.

    @ravetildon,

    If all are updated and you cleared your cache AND the Yoast sitemaps all load when you visit them, then the issue is with Google (since the Yoast sitemaps load).

    We suggest contacting Google for more information as Yoast is outputting it correctly. You may?contact Google by making a post on their forums:?https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!forum/webmasters.

    Hi @pcosta88 i think it was a Google issue since after trying a few times i made it work. I really don’t know wich was the cause, nor the solution!

    Thanks!
