Google Console Soft 404 Errors

    Hi, I just went to Google Console and found that there are 367 pages marked as “Submitted URL seems to be a Soft 404.”

    I checked the URLs and it seemed like all the URLs are with a double slash (like this “//”) in the end. (Screenshot)

    I checked the sitemap from the dashboard and the URLs seemed ok (no double slash)(Screenshot). So I’m not sure where did this issue occur.

    Hope I could fix this!

    @barrelleaf your sitemap is valid so this probably doesn’t have to do with AIOSEO. Google Search Console sometimes glitches out so it might be worth a try to remove your sitemap from Google Search Console and then resubmit it again.

    Thank you for your response. I’ve removed the sitemap from Google Search Console and resubmitted it again.

    I’ll wait to see if this solves the issue.
