I keep getting a notice from my Google Search Console that many, if not most, of my NextGen Gallery images say, “Submitted URL has crawl issues-validation failed”. I have tried everything I can think of but can’t seem to fix this problem. The galleries are on password protected pages but that has never been a problem in the past.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @larryfields007,

    Sorry for the delay.

Usually, if using Yoast SEO, password protecting the URL, but NOT making the page noindex, then Google is trying to crawl it and getting hit with indexing errors due to the password.

You can change it to noindex and the page won’t be indexed at all

    Hope this helps,
    Mihai
