• Hi
For 8 years, I had an html site which for the past few years has been no 1 on Google. In fact my site filled the first page on Google. I did nothing extra to get this rating. Due to the site being very popular in the area and the time it took to manually maintain it every day, I decided to have it re-built on a wordpress platform by professionals. This has been done and it looks good, but I’ve lost my ranking with Google. Gradually pages are beginning to appear, but I don’t understand why my 3 most visited pages, including my homepage, aren’t appearing in Google searches? Even if I search Google for an exact string of words from the keywords on my website – nothing!
So, some facts and figures for you, if it helps:
    Site: https://www.herefordequestrian.co.uk
Launched on this platform 25 Feb 2011.
    Page views since launch: 272,149.
    35,813 visits.
    Any ideas?

More over this is not an issue with wordpress .. any ways i would like to tell u some thing

    – google has changed its search algorithm , so strictly follow guidelines listed n web master tools

    – install plugins like all in one seo , xml site map plugins and submit them to google

But why, if the site is being indexed, is the homepage not being indexed?

Your site is getting indexed ..last google indexed your home page is on 28 May 2011

    so no worries in this..

check your webmaster tools once see if u have any crawl errors ..if there rectify them and submit a reconsideration

    happy blogging

    with regards

    sribharath
