Hello, May I ask you a question.
I have a 100G Google Drive account but do not want to give access to it.
So – Is it possible to create a folder there “UpdraftPlus” and share it with a another account. So this new account will have “UpdraftPlus” folder but the folder is actually stored with another account ..
Will this set up work ? I think it might add some security in all that ..
    Thank you

It sounds like it could. What happens if you try?

Looks like it does not ?? It creates another folder in “My Drive” with same name ??

    Hi,

On the new account, did you select ‘Add this to my Drive’ on the shared folder?

I see ! Yes – It does work this way!
The only one problem is that all files(backups) belong to this new account and use this new account space (15G limit) .. So i have to pay for extra space for second account too or from time to time change their ownership manually to my Main G.Drive … sounds like it is easier just to have a fully working second account for backups only and not for other use. Anyway ! Thank you for the help.
