I have reviewed your case and I see that you are having some trouble with your backup plugin. The cause of this is that your plugin script is taking longer to execute than our shared servers allow for PHP scripts. And as such is being killed. You would need to either contact the plugin developer to see if there is a way to speed up the script, or you would have to move the backups over manually using ftp. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Above is what HostGator support told me for the time out issues I was having while uploading the backup to Google Drive.

    https://updraftplus.com/faqs/what-does-the-error-operation-timed-out-after-number-milliseconds-with-0-bytes-received-mean/

Your KB page tells me to go ask my web host for help. My web host is telling me to go ask the plugin developer for help.

    What do I do?

    Hi,

My colleague has already sent a report to our developers about this issue and we will get back to you as soon as we are able to find what is causing the issue.

It would also help us with our investigation if you can also send us a copy of your backup log.

    Regards,
    Bryle

Could you provide me a private way to share the log with you? An email address perhaps?

    Hi All,

I am experiencing the same issue since a couple of days… i am not able to make any backup to google drive. Already i revalidated for 3 times now, didn’t help.

    error message in log:
Google Drive: ERROR: Have not yet obtained an access token from Google (has the user authorised?)

Is there any progress regarding this issue.

    Regards,

    Steve

    Hi @btux,

    Apologies for the late reply.

Do you have any caching or security plugin installed? Could you try to temporarily deactivate it then try re-authenticate your remote storage? Also try using a different browser or use incognito mode.

If still the same issue, I would suggest you wipeout settings in the ‘Advance Tools’ tab and re-setup UpdraftPlus all over again.

    Regards,
    Bryle
