Google font Montserrat font weights not showing

    I have installed the Montserrat font via Google fonts in the font manager in the site editor.

    I have selected multiple weights of this font but when selecting these options ie bold, light etc nothing changes, only one font weight shows in both the editor and the front end of the website.

    I have tried to install this font both by connecting to Google fonts and then by downloading and uploading but the issue remains.

    I have also tried other fonts from Google such as Open Sans and Roboto and both installed and displayed with no issues so its seems like an issue just with Montserrat.

    Has anyone else had this issue and how did they resolve it?

  • Three font files are not loaded as they are delivered via https:// instead of https://. Unfortunately, I cannot tell from the file name which font it is. Did you activate SSL at some point and change the domain again after you set up Montserrat? Perhaps it would make sense to delete Montserrat again and download it again.

    I also see that you have written one URL under Settings > Generel with https:// instead of https://. This could also be a reason.

    It was the https issue. Thanks for pointing this out. I am still not sure why the other Google fonts were working fine and just this one had an issue?
