    Hi,

I’ ve downloaded free theme which includes several google fonts. I wanted to use some of them, but they do not include some characters I need. I am familiar with changing the font chart, but I have no idea how to extract desired font from the theme and then after modification how to implement it back. Anyone?

  • Sorry, but I don’t understand what you mean by

Do you just want to change the font for another? If so Google fonts usually have two components.

One is the Javascript line of code which is usually in your header

Two is the instances in your css, where you are using that family.

    Hi Christine,

I would like to change specific font. But I do not know which file do I have to modify and where to find it. I am not sure if it is even possible to edit google fonts.. If it is, how do I put the modified font back in the list of available google fonts?

You can’t modify a google font. It’s a hosted library, hosted on Google’s end, imported to your theme

Thank you for clarifying this. Now I can start spending my time on more productive things =)
